I’ve not been blogging for quite some time. Deeply apologetic, to my blog fans our there. *Sheepish smile. I believe I’ve been rather busy to even come online and chat with my friends. It’s mostly chatting at school. Calls would be to that special someone and text messaging would to my friends when necessary. If not, my whole communication with my social circle would be dead by now. I mean of course I do talk. But like I said, rarely. An update of my life since 23rd March.
Ever since I got sick I realised that I’m behind the class. I’ve not been attending Geography lessons for 3 whole weeks. The first week was because of the Annual March Holidays. Excused. The second week was because of the three days I missed, first two to being sick and the third being Good Friday. And as for this week, it was because I was playing at Tampines (Microsoft Word’s spelling and grammar checking function came on, and the words given to ‘correct’ Tampines was TAMPONS! HAHA!) Sports Hall playing the nationals.
First was with Nanyang Girls’ High. Choi Ling and I played doubles. Eilis took over my place as singles. I’ll touch on badminton later. I think me and Choi Ling did well cuz we played till rubber match even though it was our first time playing as doubles together. Yups. The scores? 15-9, 7-15, 9-15. Even though we didn’t win, a good job well done, if u asked me. *smiles. The next school we played with was with Tanjong Katong Girls’ School. Our opponent was weak. Weaker than us, but we lost to them! That’s cuz the opponents kept rallying with Choi Ling. And she returned the balls to them. It’s difficult for me to cover her cuz when she suddenly lets go of the ball during the rallying, then it’s like a sudden ball given to me. I made mistakes too, but it wasn’t as much as hers. I’m not blaming her, I’m learning from all my mistakes and hers. (Only whoever was there would understand). The last school we played with was with CHIJ Toa Payoh. Choi Ling and I played first doubles this time. One of our opponent’s hair irritated me. The fact that it kept flying all over the place. HAHA. Anyways, made a few friends. And I can’t stand that irritating teacher who umpired Choi Ling and my game with Nanyang. Super blur lorhs. Irritating. Make us play a few points over and over again. (Only Choi Ling would understand this.) Anyways, never mind bout the nationals, we’ll be back next year. *Fighting look.
Mummy’s in the US. In New York in fact. But now she’s in Frankfurt. Taking the flight back to Singapore and will arrive 6.25am tomorrow morning. She’s been in NYC since last Sunday. She flew off on Saturday night. Arrived there the next morning. Glad she called home yesterday. She sounded sick. She was sick. She is sick. The cold weather got to her. 10 degrees Celsius. So much colder than Singapore. Anyway, she’s coming home tomorrow. In the comfort of her family’s arms and her own home. Miss her so much!
Went out with TJ and DJ today. Had tuition in the morning first. After that traveled down to Plaza Singapura, met TJ, and watched THE EYE 10. I was freaking our most of the time. But the show has some funny parts. To those who are gonna watch it, ENJOY! Haha. Met Sharene at the toilet there after the movie. Haha. We were watching the same movie. And we didn’t realise it till after the show. Hilarious. Bet she loved the show too. She was with her date. Haha. (HI SHARENE! I SAW YOU!) After the movie, went down to Tanjong Pagar and ate at the hotel (I-dunno-what’s-the-name hotel.). Buffet. Woo! TJ’s treat. The beef was nice. The chicken was ok. The prata was horrible. (It had onions!) The laksa was SUPERB! The guy serving me was trembling when I ordered a laksa from him. He was a trainee. Excused. Then I went a second time, he wasn’t trembling no more. Haha. The buffet was nice! THANKS TJ! LOVE YA!
Walked around the city after that. Went to Esplanade Library and just lazed around. TJ and DJ slept. I read my book. And watched a few of the musicals that I’ve watched b4. Quite nice. Relaxed and not disturbed. I like that feeling. But the Esplanade reminded me of him. *sigh. After that, made my way home at 8pm. Got home at 8.45pm. Dead beat tired now.
Daddy is now talking to me bout badminton. In fact, he’s complaining. But why so? He said all coaches are thinking bout money. Blah bah blah. I’m dragged in cuz I get scolded by him cuz his own son doesn’t listen. Dunno. I decided to keep my nose out of this, badminton thing. That’s the best way.
Anyways, I don’t wanna tok no more. Daddy’s making so much noise. I’m not complaining. Just don wanna touch on badminton even though I’m suppose to. Ciao peeps. :)
i wonder whether you were worth it all.
